A tour through Amersfoort (30.7 km)
Pedal back in time and cycle through the historic cobblestone city of Amersfoort! The city center has retained an authentic medieval character with its many canals. Towards the end of the thirteenth century, Amersfoort received a city wall. Unfortunately, little remains of this, but you can still admire the gates of a second wall today! You start your cycling tour of approximately 2 hours through the atmospheric and old city center of Dordrecht, where you then cycle to the island. From there you can take the ferry to cycle to the Biesbosch. At De Biesbosch National Park you can enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful nature. Cycling in Eindhoven is very easy, because in the city and surroundings you will find beautiful cycling routes such as the Philips route. During this route you cycle past various historic Phillips locations. Be surprised by the industrial history and experience the past of this city of light. This bridge is famous for the Battle of Arnhem in World War II . During this route you cycle past the central station, Sonsbeekpark and the Korenmarkt.
