Versatile Apeldoorn: from Paleis het Loo to the Veluwe

Apeldoorn is a beautiful and versatile city, where you can visit for young and old. The cosy city centre offers nice shops and restaurants. Bustling Arnhem: shopping and fun

Arnhem is a cosy and old city where you can combine shopping with nature, museums and nice trips. The Bastion Hotel Arnhem is situated in the centre, at the Rijnkade, a 5-minute walk from the Korenmarkt.  The hotel has bicycle rental and private parking facilities. You park your car in our garage or you are in front of the door in 10 minutes from the station. You pick up your bicycle and within 20 minutes cycling distance you have the Burgers' Zoo, the adjacent Dutch Open Air Museum and you can cycle to the Posbank. Nijmegen is a world-famous city; every year more than 45,000 people come to take part in the Nijmegen Marches. Not only is that very special, but Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands. If you like culture and history, this is the city to visit. Museum het Valkhof is a wonderful museum to visit, where you will find a collection of antiquities.
